Through the analysis of existing systems, apprentices will recommend improvements, and integrate digital tools that eliminate manual tasks, duplicated data entry, and disconnected processes.
Information Communications Technicians make their contribution through the application of infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
Apprentice learners on this programme provide support to internal and/or external customers, by using tools or systems to problem solve and trouble-shoot routine and non-routine problems. This occupation supports clients/customers with their systems. They achieve this through monitoring and maintaining the systems and/or platforms to maximise productivity and user experience.

An Apprenticeship supporting new recruits and existing team members to develop key tech skills and become Cyber Essentials Assessors upon completion.
From day one, learners build confidence and develop competence, supported by two of our in-house coaches and a workplace mentor.
Delivered through our Information Communications Technician Level3 Apprenticeship, over a duration of approximately 18 months, plus a 4 month Apprenticeship Assessment period. With an additional module, IASME courses and assessment, upon successful completion learners will become Cyber Essentials Assessors.
Complete and pass a half-day 'Cyber Basics' Assessment.
Being employed by a Certification body, working under supervision of an experienced Cyber Essentials Assessor - under supervision Trainee Assessors will be able to mark Cyber Essentials Assessments (with the mentor signing off these assessments)
Attend one-day Cyber Essentials Assessor training.
Complete the integrated Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship.
Upon completion of the Apprenticeship (approximately 2 years), learners will go through the Assessor Skills Exam.
An entry-level pathway supporting individuals to develop a career within the sector and become a Cyber Essentials Assessor upon successful completion.
