Overview of Role: Support the development, optimisation, and user engagement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
This role offers hands-on experience in digital systems and applications, contributing to business efficiency and user support while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Purpose of Role:
The DST Apprentice plays a key role in supporting the effective use of digital technologies and data across TDM’s business functions. Working within the Customer Experience – Business Support team, the role focuses on supporting the wider TDM team, particularly the Marketing and Engagement Team, to improve productivity, enhance customer service, and enable data-driven decision-making.
Key responsibilities include maintaining CRM data integrity, generating performance reports, supporting teams with dashboards and insights, and helping to implement digital tools and systems. The apprentice will collaborate with colleagues to translate complex data into actionable insights and support the organisation’s mission to help employers develop tech and digital talent across the West Midlands and beyond.
This role also champions a culture of accountability and continuous improvement by promoting best practices in data use and digital transformation, aligned with TDM’s core values.

Overview of Role: Working as part of the Customer Experience Team to support IT helpdesk queries, design, develop, test, and implement IT solutions and to provide ongoing support directly to end users.
Purpose:
This role is for someone who believes that great technology should empower people to do their best work.
As part of the IT Team, this role will ensure that TDM’s digital tools, platforms, and infrastructure run smoothly, securely, and efficiently, playing a key role in maintaining and improving the technology environment that underpins our tech and digital programmes.
This role will support staff and learners to stay connected, productive, and protected, and will directly contribute to the organisation’s ability to operate reliably, scale effectively, and deliver digital learning experiences with confidence.

1. Provide general IT support, working with employees/learners to identify computer/system problems and advise on the solution.
2. Test and fix faulty equipment and troubleshoot issues via helpdesk ticketing system.
3. Suggest infrastructure or software-based productivity solutions and implement these in the organisation where relevant.
4. Update self-help documentation for users as required.
5. Support physical and digital infrastructure transformation projects.
6. Support users in the efficient use of software.
7. Utilise software packages and tools such as collaborative technologies.
8. Maintain an awareness of current, emerging and fringe technologies.
9. Support and implement ICT-related projects that help to modernise ICT in line with current developments in technology.
10. Carry out the installation of hardware, software and any other ICT equipment, ensuring they are safe before use.
11. Repair and maintain ICT equipment to maximise efficiency.
12. Support the delivery of TDM programmes through administering various IT support needs in the delivery team such as administration and invigilation of the exams via Pearson Vue or virtual testing systems.
13. Support for the overall networking and connectivity in physical and virtual offices, ensuring tidiness and compliance with policies to ensure compliance
14. Support and contribute to the overall ethos of TDM.
15. Keep up-to-date with developments in ICT and update practices where necessary.
15. Ensure all data is handled, stored and disposed of in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR.
16. Any other duties as directed by your line manager and/or a Director.
17. Ensure compliance with all TDM policies, procedures and legal responsibilities, including safeguarding, ISO9001,Confidentiality, Data Protection and Cyber Essentials.

Overview of Role: Coach a caseload of learners and their mentors (following TDM’s curriculum intent and approach) in order to maximise timely achievement rates and the acquisition of both Skills and Knowledge. You must also reliably document a learning narrative in order to ensure compliance. Design and Deliver Training Programmes following TDM’s task-based, flipped classroom approaches and methodologies.
