Overview of Role:
Start and develop tech and digital careers for people in the region, resourcing quality applicants and matching them to TDM apprenticeship vacancies which have been generated by the Employer Engagement Team. Exceed KPI targets on starts per quarter.

1. Maintain and understand a range of real employer vacancies (for TDM apprenticeships) within a defined geographical area.
2. Source and attract candidates to those vacancies we have on offer and evaluate their suitability for those employers in that role/apprenticeship.
3. Drive the conversion of prospective learners into jobs/apprenticeships.
4. Work to monthly KPIs based on learners converted to TDM programmes including skills bootcamps and apprenticeship starts.
5. Effectively filter candidates at various points throughout the onboarding process.
6. Offer high quality impartial information, advice and guidance to applicants and match them to the correct TDM programme e.g. skills bootcamp or apprenticeship.
7. Build and nurture relationships with key referral organisations in the region (i.e. Job Centres, Career Hubs, Colleges/Universities etc) that can contribute to the referral of candidates to our programmes and the opportunities we have for them, including attending events on behalf of TDM.
8. Deliver "Applicant Days" and conduct initial assessment of applicants.
9. Regularly communicate with and motivate candidates to engage.
10. Compellingly present a range of TDM services in public/online presentations.
11. Ensure quality and accuracy in the completion of required documentation, processes and systems.
12. Any other duties as directed by your line manager and/or a Director.
13. Compliance with all TDM policies, procedures and legal responsibilities, including ISO9001 and Cyber Essentials.

Maximising contribution in Work-based Learning, helping learners ask: 1. How best can I work? 2. How best shall I learn?
Coaching a caseload of learners and their mentors (following TDM’s curriculum intent and approach) in order to maximise retention, timely completion rates, employee performance and whole person development. You must also reliably document a learning narrative in order to ensure compliance. Design and deliver training programmes following TDM’s task-based, flipped classroom approaches and methodologies. Demonstrate TDM's values and culture in your professional work and collaborate with managers and colleagues on the Company's mission and vision.

1. Be employer responsive - developing and maintaining strong employer relationships, assisting in employer impact / digital transformation / change management, future proofing workforce planning and generating more Degree Apprenticeships / Apprenticeships/ Skills Bootcamp starts with your employer partners.
2. Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) with employers and their employees / learners.
3. Plan, assess, teach and align individual learning plans within both genuinely work-based learning and the educational brief, ensuring quality and accuracy in the completion of required documentation.
4. Communicate effectively with skills and knowledge coaches to ensure the programme is supporting the whole person education objectives as well as the development of knowledge and skills.
5. Ensure retention of learners on programme by owning the learner record of learning at all times, proactively resolving any issues and managing the individual learning journey.
6. Ensure timely completion of the programme by ensuring learner progress is checked regularly and completed by the threshold period so learners can prepare for final assessments during threshold, thus completing by the planned end date.
7. Proactively progress learning and facilitate formative and summative assessment of each individual learners’ PERFORMANCE in both their work and their studies via a range of methods.
8. Proactively progress learning and facilitate formative and summative assessment of each individual learners’ whole person DEVELOPMENT via a range of methods.
9. Proactively progress learning and facilitate formative and summative assessment of each individual learners’ ENGLISH and MATHS development via a range of methods.
10. Effectively document the learner journey through regular report writing, delivering and documenting employer and learner responsive coaching sessions using formative coaching and assessment skills (i.e. PATA or GROW).
11. Ensure learner retention remains high and learners achieve timely completion of their programme.
12. Effectively rate learners against the RBSG (red, bronze, silver, gold) criteria (predicting programme success not personal performance).
13. Create and manage learner action plans and plan, provide and review additional learning support (ALS) where required.
14. Coach learners in terms of their performance improvement and personal development, helping them to sustain or gain employment in Tech or Digital careers, whilst being a positive member of society.
15. Design, develop and deliver classroom-based and blended training around the relevant Standard/programme (virtual (using mainly Totara, Moodle and Mahara) or real world).
16. Engage with and support quality processes.

· Educated to Degree Level or equivalent.
· English and Maths at Level 2+ (i.e. GCSE grade C/4+).
· A passion for working with (and fostering learning and development relationships for) employers and for their employees as learners.
· Strong project management and organisation skills to ensure each employer and each learner achieves what they’re capable of.
· Good writing, self-organisation and attention to detail skills.
· Ability to personally demonstrate and also to develop others against the TDM core values (see above).
