Reliably documenting the learning journey of each learner following TDM’s procedures and systems, the SKCs collaborate with colleagues and managers to achieve positive outcomes for learners and company goals.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Be employer responsive – working with employer partners to develop and maintain relationships, assisting in employer impact / digital transformation through the development of the skills and knowledge of their learners in the area of data and systems development.
2. Engage employers to assess talent needs and support TDM's recruitment, retention, and reskilling strategies. Advise employers on workforce planning and help initiate Degree Apprenticeship, Apprenticeship or Skills Bootcamp programmes with employer partners.
3. Plan, assess, teach, and align individual learning plans (PATA/GROW) through tripartite coaching sessions with workplace mentors, adapting the learning plans to suit workplace requirements and programme objectives.
4. Proactively progress learning and facilitate formative and summative assessment of learners’ SKILLS via a range of methods.
5. Proactively progress learning and facilitate formative and summative assessment of learners’ KNOWLEDGE via a range of methods.
6. Engage with learners to improve their maths skills and collaborate with Performance and Development Coaches for the development of the whole person education approach.
7. Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the programmes you coach and train on.
8. Following TDM’s educational approach, methodology and techniques: develop, and deliver classroom-based training aligned with the relevant programmes, in both virtual and physical settings.
9. Deliver a quality blended learning experience through Totara (Moodle) and Mahara, adhering to TDM’s procedures and systems and actively participating in continuous improvement.
10. Deliver coaching/training sessions flexibly across different programmes and standards and maintain up to date knowledge of the end point assessment criteria, using this to ensure learners achieve the best possible grades they can.
11. Adapt to different learning styles and needs of learners, developing and managing learner action plans with colleagues, providing additional support as necessary to remove barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes.
12. Accurately document the learner journey through consistent and detailed report writing, using TDM systems. Assess learners according to the RBSG (red, bronze, silver, gold) criteria, focusing on programme success rather than individual performance. Ensure quality and precision in all required documentation.
13. Understand, apply and ensure Ofsted agendas within area of responsibility.
14. Engage with and support the compliance, quality and customer experience processes and procedures.

Ideal Candidate:
• Experience working with the following technologies: Microsoft 365, including Power Platform (especially Power BI) and Copilot Studio; Azure; GitHub; Python
• Educated to Degree or equivalent in a relevant IT or technical-related subject.
• English and Maths at Level 2+ (i.e. GCSE grade C/4+).
• Successful work experience within the technical field(s) which you will coach and train for at TDM.
• A clear narrative around your natural hunger for continuous learning and development within the technical field(s) which you will coach in at TDM.
• Well-rounded knowledge of a broad range of the fundamentals of tech and digital as a minimum.
