Digital technologies should be used to solve problems that exist across a range of functions. Whether looking for ways to reduce waste, increase productivity, ensure responsive customer service, or create a secure environment, Digital and Technology Solutions Professionals (DTSPs) make such things happen.
DTSPs are influencers in their organisations with a clear focus on delivering business improvements through digital and technological solutions. They have a passion for digital technology; keeping in touch with emerging trends and developments .
DTSPs have a broad set of skills and knowledge across the main areas of the digital and technology landscape. This enables them to understand the complexity of information systems, systems development, data, cyber security, business organisation, IT project management and computer and network infrastructures.
They view all of this with a rigorous approach to commerciality and budget to deliver quality solutions.
Upon completion, all learners will be assessed against this End Point Assessment plan.

Skills Coaching
Work-based learning is central to the TDM approach. TDM learners not only aggregate evidence artefacts into an ePortfolio, they also reflectively narrate how much they have grown during their on and off the job learning. TDM Skills and Knowledge Coaches (SKCs) continuously renegotiate an employer-responsive, Individualised Learning Plan to make this learning journey deliver the workplace impacts genuinely needed.
Knowledge Coaching
Both training and coaching processes are critical for covering and embedding knowledge which is critical to the core and specialist duties. TDM SKCs deliver a "flipped classroom" training methodology and "make it stick" coaching techniques to ensure that knowledge is genuinely developed.
Alongside these technical modules learners will receive coaching on three agendas throughout the Apprenticeship:
This will enable them to develop the business skills required to become a Technology Leader (and to develop HE-level academic skills) as well as developing the technical skills required by the apprenticeship standard.
Specialisms:
The Degree is awarded by either University of Staffordshire or the University of Worcester
Degree-level learning is substantially different from the style of occupational learning at Levels 3 and 4 Apprenticeships. TDM's Academic Rigour Coaches (ARCs) make this easy by developing the higher-order thinking skills needed whilst keeping things assertively focussed on genuinely work-based learning.
To achieve and exceed the National Apprenticeship Standard, 6 hours a week of salaried hours must be spent in learning away from the workstation.
According to the particular needs of each employer / learner / topic, TDM coaches will responsively plan and deliver:
Individual employers will set the selection criteria, but this is likely to include:
