Apprenticeship Incentive Extension to January 2022!

The effect of COVID-19 on businesses has been and continues to be tough, with many financial and recruitment based implications. Therefore, It’s with great pleasure that we are able to share that the Apprenticeship Incentives payment has now been extended to January 2022!** Employers who recruited an apprentice between 1st April 2021 and 30th September 2021, you still have to claim your incentive by 30th November deadline.**With workforce cutbacks being more real than ever, it’s important to know what your options are as an employer and how you can continue to mould, develop and shape your company and the people within it.The Apprenticeship Incentives introduced earlier this year really helped those employing and those looking to get into employment via the apprenticeship route, resulting in a positive experience for those entering the employment market.Now is the time to assess and fill those newly established and recognised tech and digital skills gaps in your workforce through the apprenticeship route.Important Information:

  • £3,000 for hiring a new apprentice of any age
  • You will be able to apply for a payment of £3,000 for apprentices with an employment start date from 1st October 2021 to 31st January 2022, once applications open in January 2022
  • To receive the payment, you must submit an application for each eligible apprentice using your apprenticeship service account.
  • You will need to add the apprentices to your apprenticeship service account first
