Our Employer of the Month Award is an opportunity for the spotlight to shine on one of our current employers who has worked hard to support their apprentice(s), provides progression and career development opportunities, and goes that extra mile to accommodate, drive and promote apprenticeships within the company. This is an opportunity to celebrate apprenticeships and their undeniable value to employers.In order to be awarded Employer of the Month, employers can be nominated by a TDM coach, other TDM members of staff, the mentor within the company, or the apprentice themselves.
Our Employer of the Month Award for September goes to myAPPetite, a fast-growing business based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. myAPPetite currently have a successful Digital Support Technician who has "grown in confidence and her understanding of the job requirements has been second to none." myAPPetite has now implemented a bonus scheme for her, increased her hourly wage and have put a career progression plan in place so she knows "exactly where she needs to get to." - Jamie Turvey, Operations Director at myAPPetite.myAPPetite are also recruiting for another Digital Support Engineer Apprentice to join their growing support team, where the two current support engineers have both already been through the apprenticeship scheme. Meaning that the new apprentice will join a both a company and a team of people who fully understand the journey they are about to undertake.The nomination for myAPPetite came via our Worcestershire Learning and Development Representative, Beth Newton:
