Level 4: Data and Business Analysis

This module introduces the notion of process orientation and gives experience of modelling business processes as activities that create value for customers. It gives you the potential to work as business analysts and to improve business processes in an organisation in the public or private sectors.

Level 4: Networks and Hardware

This module supports learner to understand the components of typical computing devices and how to select appropriate components to support application requirements. Learners will also understand the Fundamental networking concepts and protocol suites, how to select and configure industry standard network appliances and how to identify and troubleshoot network errors.

Level 4: Software Fundamentals

This module introduces you to software development. You will learn how to analyse a problem, select suitable test criteria, design an appropriate solution, implement clear code and ensure that your solution works as expected. Whether a complete novice or someone with some prior experience you will benefit from studying this module.

Level 4: Cyber Fundamentals

Within this module, you will learn fundamental principles of cyber security, as well as how this fits into the wider computing landscape. You will also learn about core cyber security technologies and techniques, and how these are used to secure a wide range of computational systems and networks.

Level 4: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

This module establishes an understanding of the characteristics and implications which are inherent in the solution of complex, real-world data science and AI-oriented problems. You will learn to critically evaluate and apply different Machine Learning and Data Mining  techniques for exemplifying data patterns, as well as using Machine Learning tools to build an Artificial Intelligence software solution.

Level 4: Mathematics, Statistics and Collaborative Research

Decision making needs to be informed by data and information, working in small teams of fellow apprentices you will undertake a collaborative research project to make and present conclusions from your work.  Building on a grounding of appropriate maths and stats techniques and tools your research team will required to design a research tool to obtain primary data and present your findings making justifiable observations from your data to an audience as required.  

Level 5: Cloud Architecture

Cloud technology is a popular term used frequently in today's world to indicate innovative concepts and usage of technology. This module will be carried out with the support of the AWS (Amazon Web Services) Academy and as such students will be developing their practical skills as well as enhancing their understanding. You will also be working towards the knowledge required to undertake the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner industry certification.

Level 5: Low Code Software Development

This module introduces you to low and no code platform development.
